Introduction to the Evolution of cinema lenses Lenses are the eyes of cinematography! This hands-on workshop will focus on cinema lenses from vintage to modern day as we see many options of primes, zooms, telephoto, and specialty glass for the creative filmmaker. We will cover the following Lenses: - Cooke - Zeiss - Angenieux Compare characteristics and looks between different lens manufacturers and review lens flare tests. Curriculum: Lecture one hour Origin & theory of lenses Lab exercise: Hand-on of different lenses attaches to a 35MM camera and a shooting practice.
