The first training session is to complete the training certification on Super 16 MM film cameras, followed by advanced training classes that will divide into six courses of 4 hours each, giving you a chance to complete your training in as little as one month. Super 16 MM Motion Picture camera, film magazine loading, and 416 Arri 16SR Advanced & High speed, Arri A & M. I. Theory: 1 Hour - Discussion on the responsibilities of a Film Loader - The tools of the trade - Understanding camera reports, lab reports, film inventory reports, and other Paperwork. - On set protocol and chain of commands in Camera Dept. - Brief history of 16 MM and super 16 MM cameras II. Lab Part: 2 1/2 Hours - Proper handling of film stock - Understanding film stock labels - Threading Magazine - Examples of what to do when you have a film jam. Tech work to the clear magazine. III. Class Closer: - Q & A: 1/2 hour
